Over the weekend

Hari ini mama buat soto. My favorite dish forever ever.
Mama invited abah n mak to come along. As usual me n bags had 3 mangkok.
Sorry..no picture of soto. Bags ask me to learn the recipe from mama (termasuk cemna nak buat rempah soto skali, boley?)
So that we can eat Soto more often. Baiklah yayang, I akan cuba.

After sending mak and abah back to Kinrara, we head to Kidz Sport & Gym @ Great Eastern Mall for Adam Harris Birthday Bash.

The next day, we went beraya at Pak Ngah’s. They celebrate raya in Melbourne this year.
We had a yummylicious lunch. Minang Sayo rocks!

baru tak semestinya best...

I will feel frustrated when I have to eat food that is not tasty.
Reason being, rugi gemuk sebab makan benda tak sedap.
But it will make me even more frustrated when I have to eat lousy and expensive food.
Starting this week, my office food court has been given a new facelift and new name – S***ra Lakeview Foodcourt. And under new management. Physically it is a nicer place with kayu n greeny concept. BUT the price and quality of food….mengecewakan.
Today I had Nasik Goreng Ayam. Nasik sejuk, sup sejuk, ayam sejuk and it cost my RM5.50 which kalau old foodcourt only RM3.50 Day before I had sizzling yee mee. Tak sedap, terlalu halia. On previous day, I had Soto. Sedap tapi ciput and it cost me RM5.00. Again kalau old canteen soto only RM3.
The only thing I like about this new food court is that they have matching fork n spoon. I cannot eat in peace kalau makan menggunakan garfu corak belang + sudu corak bunga. Pening masuk perut.
We have no other choice. Of course we can go eat outside of this building, but the Toll is already RM2.60 tak masuk petrol lagi. And furthermore time consumption.
So I will stuck with lousy and expensive food.
Oh how I miss aunty cina food. Where I used to pay only 30sen for koteow goreng. I know it’s ridiculously cheap. And nasik campur Kak Lala …

Beraya di Kedah

Second raya baru balik ke kedah. Sampai2 tak sempat balik umah, teruih ke rumah Auntie di Jalan Pegawai.
Pekena koteow goreng sbb laksam dah abihhh.
Kemudian bergegas ke Kuala Nerang. Dapat pekena ketupat. Yummmmm...

Petang Raya...

Tahun nih turn beraya di Kampung Tunku. petang raya kami dah dok kat umah Mama.
Seperti biasa, dah adat di sini, malam raya jiran2 akan datang bertakbir from house to house...memang terasa suasan lebaran.

Again, berbuka puasa di luar. Kali ini at Sari Ratu, Jalan Bukit Bintang.
I have to say the food was simply awesome. Sangat sedap, two thumbs up!!!
TAPI, yg slack sgt makanan tak cukup. Refill tak cukup.. so I don’t have the chance to taste all the yummy food.
Soto pun dpt makan seround saja. Just imagine at 8pm dah blur tatau makan apa.
So this is the most tak kenyang buffet.
Frust sgt sbb makanan sedap tapi sedikit.

I had iftar at Palace of Golden Horses with officemate. The food taste was average, tapi dia punya variety..masyaallah, banyak sungguh.
At a price of RM78++ for a 6 star hotel and the variety of food, totally worth it.
