Singapura Disember 2008

Actually aku terlupa yg aku belum lagi buat entry p Singapore, may be sebab aku dah updated kat Facebook so aku ingat mcm mmg aku dah update kat FP.
It was a very last minute plan bcoz Kak Chaq (kakak Hasna) suddenly cancel her trip to her sister’s house. So when Hasna offer us to stay at her house during Christmas Weekend, kami menerima dengan perasaan gumbira (Actually aku menjerit kegembiraan)
This is my forth trip to Singapore, last trip was on year 2006 when im 5 month pregnant to Irfan.
Hari 1 (Hari Natal)
We reached Bukit Batok at around 2pm. Umah Hasna is about 30 minutes drive from Tuas,meaning masuk ikut Second Link. Pastu ikut PIE. Sonang ja nak carik. After that we had late lunch at Restaurant Zamzam, Arab Street. Makan murtabak ayam. It tasted better this time, may be sebab makan dengan Hasna  Gua nekad tamau masuk satu pun kedai kat Arab Street tu, seriau laaa takut terbeli. Kain yg beli tahun 2006 pun belum terbuat lagi.
Bugis Mall. Antara decoration xmas yg cantik, its outdoor and its nice.
We headed to Bugis Mall then took MRT to City Hall. Irfan akan menangis dan pangiil “Daddy, Daddy” setiap kali masuk MRT, and tunjuk ke pintu ajak keluar. Nasik baik la 1 station ja. Rasa mcm kami culik anak org pulak. Selepas penat melayan Irfan tgk semua fountain kat situ, we had dinner at Thai-Chinese food restaurant at City Hall. Quit nice. Pack with ppl.
Hari 2 (Hari Tinju)
Hasna half day today. Kami pulak boley dok melepak bangang kat umah Hasna sampai separuh hari, around 11-ish baru bergerak keluar ke Orchard Road, siap sesat-sesat sampai ke Tanjung Pagar. Pastu, tetiba muncul muka Hasna kat tepi jalan out of no where. Ah ah ah. Perfect timing. We went straight to Swensen for lunch.
Nak makan Swensen pun kena beratoq…
Agak sedap makanan di sini. Swensen kat Malaysia ada serve mcm ni kah? Seingat den mcm tade je...
We did a bit of shopping at Orchard Road, but the best deal would be Irfan’s Avent bottle and its tits. Memang payah sangat nak cari tits no 4 kat sini, memanjang je out of stock.
Malam nye, we went for a hearty dinner at MacKenzie at Prinsep Street. Hasna belanja. I particularly like Baby Squid even though its signature dish would be Cereal Prawn.
Third Day (Hari Sabtu)
Hasna took us to Vivo City today for shopping. We had our lunch at Banquet Food Court. At 4pm we headed to Fullerton to see the famous Merlion.
After penat lelah jalan kat area Fullerton we had dinner at Clark Quay.
Hearty dinner at Manhattan Fish Market.

It was a night to remember, especially to Wana. I’ve never been in a position where everyone (not everyone lah kan) wants to buy us drinks.
We are indeed the youngest in the crowd, ah ah ah.

I’ve never seen Babed this much happy. Alhamdulillah everything went on smoothly and Babed is now officially tunangan orang. Orang tu Hisyam namanya.
I’allah in less than a year, she’ll be isteri orang pula.

Aquaria KLCC
On 1st January 2009, we went to Aquaria (finally). My anticipation for that place was very high, since they charge RM28 for adults.
I end up with major disappointment. The only thing I like is the sea adventure, where we walk inside a tunnel and we can see all sorts of fish swimming above our head. I like this one particular fish yg mempunyai bibir warna orange and dia akan buat mulut muncung macam Victoria Beckham tengah menyanyi. Style ok! Ah ah ah
We ended the tour in half an hour (RM56 for 30 minutes, rugi rugi...)
One specific thing I would like to complaint. Before we enter the place, Aquaria’s staff will take a photo of us with underwater backdrop. Im wishing that picture will portray Aquaria-ish theme or represent image that we are at Aquaria KLCC or something like tat. But it end up with “Finding Nemo by Pixar” and nothing whatsoever that portrays Aquaria. We would give a second thought on buying that RM28 A4 size photo if there’s at least Aquaria KLCC word on the picture. What’s the point of taking picture at Aquaria kalau tade tulis Aquaria kan?

2008 Peak
Our Phuket trip. Eventhough I think that will be my last trip to Phuket but it was the trip that I think Irfan enjoys the most. He actually did his langkah pertama there. Island tour in Fortuner was my fav. part of the trip.
2008 Lowest Point
During our Bukit Merah vacation. Irfan free fall dalam toilet while mummy sedang sebok mencari sabun mandi Irfan. I was just one step away from the bathroom.
Tetiba terdengar bunyi ‘Guk!’ (kepala Irfan keras sungguh sampai keluarkan bunyi yg kuat bila terkena lantai kat bilik air) diikuti tangisan Irfan yg sangat sangat sangat kuat, I quickly picked him up and hug him as tight as I could. Aku takut gile time tu..Takut sangat2. till today Mak dan Abah didn’t have any clue about this incident.
So to all mothers and mother-to-be out there. NEVER leave your child alone in the bathroom, walaupun korang rasa confident anak kite dah besaq, dah boley berjalan, or they sit comfortably on their tub. In split second, anything can happen. Till today I still can here that “Guk!” in my head. Alhamdulillah Irfan OK. To Irfan, if you manage to find this fp in the future, mummy so so so sorry.
2008 Wish I Had the Chance Tapi Tidak
1. its nearly the end of 08, aku still didn’t manage to bring Irfan to Aquaria. I’ve made a promise to him, kalau Irfan boley berjalan mummy nak bawak p Aquaria. Looking at our schedule for the next three weeks, harapan nak ke sana amat tipis.

3. BBQ at no 44. next year iallah BBQ at no 60.

Walaupun kami belajar di universiti yg sama, tinggal di bangunan condo yg sama di Seri Kembangan, kami kurang berkawan ketika itu. Tetapi entah bagaimana ketika memasuki alam pekerjaan atau lebih tepat ketika aku dok Hill Park, kami menjadi kawan rapat, sehingga kini..
Next year kami akan berjiran pula. yey!

Selamat Pengantin baru: Denti & Eza
|
|
We missed Denti’s Masuk Pelamin Ceremony and also the Akad Nikah sebab Irfan tetiba demam yg agak panas. On Saturday we just stay at home to make sure Irfan have enough rest so that we ca attend the reception.
Everyone dressed beautifully in Gold.
On Friday, two days before the wedding. Irfan show no sign of getting sick. He's cerdas like always.
