Cherating, Pahang

Last month is the most traveled month for Irfan (betoi ka ayat tu)
First week we went back to Alor Setar for election, then Irfan & daddy ikut mummy keje kat Kerteh , lastly our holiday in Bandung.
Tiring but fun. And of coz budget abis lari!
Last week, we went for another holiday. Kali ini abah, mak, Bangah and family ikut serta. Destinasi pilihan kali ini ialah Cherating, Pahang.
Abah yg choose this location. We stayed at Holiday Villa, Cherating.
Overall it was a great vacation and over loaded with food. (sorry no picture, sebab bz makan)
Before we went home, we had Sata at kedai Aziz Satar (not the film star).
Even though lauk lunch dia tak sedap, tapi Sata superbly delish! Hanya 35sen seketul.
I think we had around 50 ketul tak termasuk otak-otak yg rasanya dalam 30 keping.
Situated at jalan belakang Masjid Geliga, otw nak ke kuala. Sesapa yg familiar area Kemaman, should be senang nak cari kedai ni.

Day 4 – jom balik
|
|
Owh, I forgot to tell about breakfast in Santika Hotel. For me breakfast dekat hotel-hotel di Indon ni mmg la lazat. Bali, Jakarta, Bandung…semua lazat. Mmg happy tiap2 hari ade Soto. But I like heir nasik bubur the most.
As for Irfan, senang sgt nak bawak budak ni jalan2. Kalau nak tido, dia tido je dalam carrier tu sambil kaki tergantung gantung. So Cute ! Senang sgt Irfan berjalan. Tak cranky langsung. Lagipun dialah penyeri travelmates ketika dalam van. Semua suke je layan dia, tapi yg paling Irfan suke of coz Anis la kan…Anis kan guys magnet. Ah ah ah. Kalau Hasna, Irfan keep on starring at her chest! Boys will be boys. Ah ah ah
That morning Megat and Hasna has morning flight to catch. So sempat la jumpa diorang time breakfast. Dengar khabarnya flight diorang 2 hours delay.
At airport kami kena excess luggage sebanyak 12 kg. 1 kg = Rp45,000 masak ok nak membayar. Oh did I mentioned that Bags older sister Kak Hanim was also in Bandung at the same time? Siap sama flight pergi dan balik. But she went with her girlfriends. At the airport kami sempat menghabiskan duit dengan menggunakan their WaitingLounge. Kena bayar Rp30,000 per person. Ada disediakan snack and drinks. Senang sket nak handle Irfan.
To my travelmates, its been fun traveling with you guys. Thank you for everything! Love u guys!
And to Hasna & Anis can’t wait for our next trip this July. Kena berusaha keras untuk mendapatkan bikini body nih… Ah ah ah

Day 3 – Pasar Baru, Jalan Dago & Jalan Riau
|
|
On 2nd day we start the day a bit early. First we drop Hasna, Megat, Anis & Amir off at Pasar Baru. Then we took the Kijang with us to Jalan Dago. (Grande, Episode, Blossom, Donatello, DSE)
At 12noon we pick them up at Pasar Baru and head to lunch at Simpang Raya. Amir craving nak makan nasik padang. Thanx hasna sebab belanja kitorang.
Pastu we head to Jalan Riau (Heritage, Cascade, The Summit, Formen, Terminal Tas)
Malam nya again, we didn’t go out coz dah capek. Kami just shopping at Yogya – Riau Junction. And again, I had Aussie Burger (Cubes Box) and Batagor at Food Court.
But other travelmates pergi Jalan Dago for pisang keju (thanx for the tapau) and pegi Chi Walk carik tshirt yg cool.
For me my favorite outlet will be Cascade, Jalan Riau and Donatello, Jalan Setiabudi and Jalan Dago (shoes). But for Bags I think he prefers DSE (Jalan Dago) and for Irfan we bought most of Irfan’s baju at Sogo and Yogya. Kat factory outlet tak jumpa sgt baju baby boy yg 12months. Mungkin musim kot….

Day 2 - Pasar Baru, Jalan Setiabudi and Paris Van Java.

We decided to rent Kijang (Toyota Avanza) for 2 days. Rp550,000.00/day termasuk supir.
First pit stop (should be the only pit stop for Anis, ah ah ah) Pasar Baru. As usual, I only shop at my regular kedai kain (cewah) that is Chand Moda.
Terlalu regular sampai taukey kedai tu and staff dia pun dah kenai den. Mereka tak lupa serve my fav. teh tarik (yes, they do have teh tarik here) and teh Botol for Bags.
After finished menghabiskan duit di Pasar Baru (tapi Anis belum puas, esok sambung lagi) we had lunch at Sari Sunda. Just 50 meters away from the ever famous (and overrated) Rumah Mode, Jalan Setiabudi.
Kemudian kami jalan2 shopping at Jalan Setiabudi. (Rumah Mode, Natural and Donatello)
Malam nya pula, we had dinner at Raffles @ Paris van Java. Irfan did a lot of shopping for himself at Sogo.
On a lighter note, Megat tak join event di siang hari sebab he had massive headache.Not so light huh?

Day 1 - the journey begins

Our first hurdle, masalah komunikasi antara saya dan pihak Airport Limo. They supposed to provide us with Renault MPV since there are 4 adults + 1 baby and 4 HUGE bags. Alih2 yg sampai kereta Waja. Kompom la tak muat kan. So we decide to take another Waja since semua MPV dah fully booked that morning. Alhamdulillah semua sampai airport on time.
At airport everything went smoothly except for several hiccups seperti Hasna terlupa bawak ubat gigi and contact lense solution. And Megat dipaksa meng-check in his hand luggage sebab terlalu banyak liquid dalam bagnya (hair gel, contact lense solution, etc) As for us with baby, there is no problem bringing in more than 100ml of liquid.
Before boarding mummy dah siap pasangkan air plug for Irfan. But elok je flight nak take off Irfan terus tido sampai lah time nak landing. Alhamdulillah it is a smooth journey.
Sampai saje airport, Im surprised with its condition (this was my first time landing here). Masyallah…stesen bas kat Malaysia lagi canggih kot?
Anyways yg penting semua barang selamat sampai. Tapi yg belum sampainya ialah Airport transfer to Hotel Santika. Selepas ditelpon ke hotel, rupanya van sudah otw, tapi macet besar di Bandar.
Minggu Libur Panjang in Indonesia, That’s why macet.
Sampai saja di hotel, lepas freshen up kami terus ke Riau Junction (cross jalan je) for lunch. Sambil2 tu sempat shopping Bandrek instant at its supermarket - Yogya.
Malamnya supposedly kami jalan2 di Chi Walk but we sekeluarga just stay inside hotel room bcoz its raining n Irfan pun dah tido. So Bags just tapau food at Cubes Box - Riau Junction. I had Aussie Burger and this is the best burger I ever had in my entire life!!! Sedap gile beb, wa tak tipu.

Bandung Trip

This is my 3rd time to Bandung and first for Bags n Irfan dan ditemani travelmate Hasna, Megat, Anis & Amir.
First oversea trip for Irfan and I cant deny how stressful am I the night before our departure.
I keep on anticipating what will happen eg. What if Irfan fall sick? What if Irfan cry all the way inside the plane? How will Irfan get his afternoon nap? How kalau Irfan poo poo?
Macam2 lah sampai I cant sleep peacefully that night, at one point sampai terfikir nak tinggalkan Irfan dengan mak tok ngan wan. ah ah ah…mummy mummy… think too much!!!
At first we want to bring his stroller along, but knowing Irfan he wouldn’t stay on his stroller for more than 30 mins. Furthermore we will kluar masuk factory outlet all the time, macam tak berapa nak practical to bring the stroller along. So we bring his carrier instead. But at the same time, I was thinking how Irfan nak tido kalau tade stroller? Tawakkal.
I have to make sure Irfan have sufficient supply of milk, Nestum beras (breakfast), Farley rusk (lunch), Nestum apple & cranberry (dinner) and biskut Tiger susu for munchy munchy time. Also enough baju and Drypers for 4 days and 3 nights.

Irfan tak suke makan benda lembik ,especially nasik bubur.
mmg dasyat lah dia buat muka, geleng2 kepala, tutup mulut, pastu tolak tangan kite tak kasik suap.
tapi Irfan suke makan Biscuit esp. Farley Rusk and Tiger susu.
so mmg Irfan tak suke makan bende2 lembek...
Irfan gonna turn 10 months in 1 week time. Yey!
